About Marsèll

Marsèll goes beyond the idea of a traditional brand, establishing itself as a contemporary project dedicated to the study and exploration of form in all its semantic interpretations.

For over 20 years, Marsèll has combined innovation and craftsmanship. Founded in 2001 near Venice, on the Riviera del Brenta—an Italian district globally renowned for the production of luxury goods—Marsèll creates unique footwear and accessories with a timeless, minimal aesthetic. The adoption of innovative techniques and traditional methods differentiates Marsèll products by quality, lines and longevity. Pieces are handmade at the ateliers in Veneto, using independently developed processes. They require months to create and days to take shape.

Crafted in limited editions, shoes and accessories materialise from the constant pursuit of new equilibria between design, craftsmanship and the use of premium materials and leathers. The decision to use heterogeneous leathers is a signature brand attribute and a sign of pure authenticity. Each product is unique and unrepeatable to reflect the individuality of the person wearing it. The brand’s distinctive aesthetic also stems from bold volumes and hand-finishing techniques such as chiaroscuro, raw cuts, and contrasting matte and shine finishes, demonstrating craftsmanship and ceaseless exploration of form.

Knowledge and research are core brand values, and it is no coincidence that Marsèll has always explored and supported different forms of expression–such as art, photography and design–giving rise to artistic projects that have played and continue to play a fundamental role in its configuration.

In December 2023, Marsèll opened its first flagship store in Milan at Via della Spiga 42, conceived as both home and manifesto for the brand. A third point of contact in the city after the Marsèll Paradise–bookshop and multidisciplinary space–and the Showroom, historically known by the name Marsèlleria.
